TravisMathew Welcomes Glenn Maxwell To The Family
Glenn Maxwell — cricket’s ultimate showman and the man behind some of Australia’s most memorable one-day moments. Maxi’s legacy has been built on jaw dropping feats, inventive stroke play and a batting style that’s uniquely his own. We are beyond thrilled to welcome Maxi to our team of TravisMathew ambassadors.

From backyard cricket to some of the biggest stages in the world, Maxi has always played the game his way — fast, bold and unapologetically entertaining. He first rose to prominence in 2011, when his unconventional batting style saw him smash a record 50 off just 19 balls in the Australian domestic ODI. From there, his career quickly took off, and it wasn’t long before he became known as one of the fastest scorers in world cricket. His most notable moment came when he scored a double-century against Afghanistan at the 2023 World Cup, going down in history as one of the greatest innings ever played.
As a TravisMathew ambassador Maxi, will be showing us a thing or two about blending performance with personality for both on and off the field. When asked to describe his style, he puts it simply: “Sports casual is probably the best way to describe it. Comfortable and easy with a backwards cap. Perfect for chasing my son around.”
So, what excites Maxi most about joining the TravisMathew crew? “I love golf, and the brand is exactly my style,” he says. “As I said, I love the sports casual look, but the brand genuinely looks amazing and is extremely comfortable.”

And what does a typical day look like for Maxi? “Every day is different depending on where I am in the world on a cricket tour,” he explains. “But when I’m home I love to get up early and play with my son Logan. I usually go for a morning coffee and spend some time with my family. Then if I’m lucky enough, a round of golf in the arvo.”
With his recent retirement from ODI cricket, Maxi’s focus might have shifted — but his passion for the game remains the same. “Right now, I’m focusing on playing as much T20 international cricket as I can for Australia and some franchise tournaments in between”, he says. “Not playing ODIs has also given me more time at home with my family, which I’m really enjoying. Having a successful BBL with the Stars and the T20 World Cup next year are a big focus for the rest of the season.”
And if his cricketing career is anything to by, we’re in for something special. Be sure to check out Maxi’s must-haves here.
